WEDNESDAYS
about us
In RUF, we do not pretend to have it all together. We are a community in need of grace. What this means is that anyone is welcome into RUF regardless of belief. We exist for those convinced and unconvinced, for those cynical and bored and perhaps those who have been burned. We would love to get to know you and serve you any way we can.

Campus Staff
Grace Hoyme
Grace was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and completed her undergrad at the University of Mississippi. There she majored in journalism and minored in history.
Grace was involved with RUF throughout college and loved the way the ministry spoke the gospel truth into her life and reminded her of the constant need for Jesus. Grace loves to talk and finds joy in meeting new people and making friends.
Intern
Heather Walters
Heather originally hails from Memphis, TN, but became a true Texan through her time in undergrad at Texas Christian University. There, she studied Theatre and Strategic Communication. She was involved in RUF at TCU, where she was blown away by the Lord's magnificent work through such ordinary means. Heather loves to read, run, listen to music, and spend time with friends. She cannot wait to experience life on the West Coast with RUF!
Intern
Andrew Newman
Andrew was born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He went to school at the University of Mississippi, where he studied Integrated Marketing Communications. Andrew came to faith in Christ his sophomore year of college when he became involved with RUF. He loves to write and listen to music, go on long nature walks, drink coffee, spontaneously say yes to things, make friends, and talk about the gospel. He is so excited to come serve Jesus at UCSB and this fall!
